The Gender and Justice Unit

The Gender and Justice Unit (GJU) is a women-led organisation based in Malawi, using the law as a tool to advance gender equality, access to justice, and accountability. This channel features videos, short documentaries, and digital stories documenting GJU’s work across communities, institutions, and policy spaces. Our content goes beyond dialogue to show how legal empowerment, survivor-centred advocacy, research, and innovation are used in practice to challenge gender-based violence and inequality - online and offline.
